How can we help?

Just like the people who run them, no two businesses are exactly the same. Neither are their challenges or the solutions they need. Because of this, we tailor our services around the unique needs of our clients.
In general, what we do is equip senior leaders with the tools they need in order to drastically improve employee performance and, therefore, organizational results.
We know that business challenges are a unique combination of both organizational structure issues and human behavior issues. Examples of organizational structure issues include outdated organizational structure models, bloated processes, policies that work against serving the customer, etc. The human behavior issues we commonly see are resistance to change, a culture focused on activity not results, ineffective communication, a lack of leadership effectiveness, etc.
The challenge that you face is that most trainers/consultants are effective at addressing only one side of the problem. So, they provide training or do process improvement. That only solves half of the problem and before you know it, the problem is back bigger than ever.
We address both the organizational structure issues and the human behavior issues and help you implement permanent solutions that drive improved employee performance and organizational results. Our success at swiftly identifying and resolving the root causes of organizational structure and human behavior issues is what sets us apart from most trainers and management consultants.
While it would be easy for us to list the 5 or 50 or 500 of the most recent problems we have solved for our clients, the best way for you to see specifically how we can help you with your unique challenges is to give us a call at (309) 828-9060 or click here to contact us. We'll confidentially discuss your situation with you at no cost and with no obligation. In the interim, here is a list of actual projects completed by us:
Examples of Completed Projects:
With more than 15 years of successfully helping organizations of all sizes dramatically improve their results, we have worked on most every kind of organizational issue you can imagine. Listed below are a few examples:
- Assisted a consulting organization with several restructuring issues, including implementing a new management structure, defining the requirements for new positions and assisting in the evaluation of finalist candidates. Also provided guidance and expertise on the organizational change issues they would face in implementing their new organizational structure.
- Developed a succession plan for several positions at an international manufacturing company, including a plan for future ownership transition.
- Retained by a board of directors to complete an organizational restructuring. Services included terminating a general manager, providing an interim general manager, negotiating a new ownership structure among five owners, revising the organizational structure and all job functions, hiring several new employees and conducting a successful national search for a new general manager.
- Led a six person executive team through the implementation of a new leadership model for their organization. We were then retained for phase two to implement the use of this leadership model throughout the organization.
- Provided individual coaching services to more than 20 CEO / CXO level business leaders in six organizations. Topics included improving poor performance and developing leadership effectiveness.
- Talent management assessments for more than 20 organizations.
- 1,600 behavioral interviews conducted for a wide variety of clients.
- Candidate search for the third member of a three person management team.
- Completed a comprehensive behavioral interviewing project including wording for the ads, evaluated resumes, completed six in-depth behavioral interviews, identified three finalist candidates and recommended a candidate to hire.
- We conducted more than 100 behavioral interviews for a Fortune 50 employer in a project to identify links between training and job performance. We recommended that they refocus their project instead on the link between employee's strengths and their job performance. According to the client’s estimate, we saved them more than $60,000 by refocusing the project on links that were statistically significant rather than more random.
- We interviewed several current district managers of a $1.4 billion privately held company to identify traits common among the highest performers using our proven (statistically significant) methodology. Next, we designed a behavioral interviewing questionnaire for the company's regional managers to use when interviewing district manager candidates so that they could achieve improved results long after our involvement was completed. The Vice President of Sales said the new interviewing tool has resulted in much better hiring decisions.
- Called in when a major project was delayed, cash flow dried up and two key employees resigned. Helped CEO talk through short term and long term action steps and priorities.
- Consulted with the CEO of a software development company to identify issues facing his organization as they planned for substantial growth. Implemented a leadership skill development program, developed milestones for adding new resources and presented an organizational change model that guided them through several complex organizational changes.
